First Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health

During your first visit, we will first review your dental and medical history with you and then a dental assistant will take any necessary X-rays of your teeth. Dr. Crowley will meet with you to do a comprehensive oral exam and review your dental X-rays. She will create a treatment plan with you and answer any questions you may have.

At that visit, you will usually get an estimate of how many visits your treatment will take and how much it will cost. We will schedule you with the hygienist to clean your teeth at another appointment.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these to your first appointment

  • Your health history printed and filled out with a list of any medications you are taking
  • Your insurance card

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for routine teeth cleanings and once a year for your checkup exam to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit our office, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
